Sir Keir Starmer is expected to urge allies to supply Ukraine with more advanced missile systems to hit enemy locations during discussions in the UK capital on the upcoming Friday.

Britain's leader plans to receive Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky alongside what's known as "coalition of the willing", including numerous of supporting nations who have pledged to grant Ukraine protection commitments once a ceasefire is arranged.

Ukraine's president has been appealing for several weeks for further long-range weapons from allied countries, an action that Russia has stated would escalate the conflict.

President Zelensky is journeying from Brussels, where he held talks with European representatives on the previous day requesting financial support.

Sir Keir will urge delegates to expand the provision of advanced missile technology following a productive attack on a chemical plant in the Russian city, the Russian Federation, using British-supplied advanced weaponry.

"Furthermore, his brutal attacks on innocent children in a preschool this week show that perfectly obvious," he added.
